CU-TR/EAC Compliance Declaration for Light Industry Products

The confirmation of clothing safety within the Eurasian Union is achieved through the EAC compliance declaration or obtaining the EAC Certificate for certain types of children's clothing. Before obtaining EAC declaration registration, some types of children's clothing must also obtain a National Registration Certificate (SGR).

Meeting these conditions is a necessary requirement for importing and selling light industry products within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The period for clothing EAC compliance declaration is one to two weeks, depending on the product quantity, presence of inspection reports, and other factors.

1. Upper garments: vests, jackets, coats, sweaters, skirts, suits, tops, sundresses, dresses, shorts, trousers, shirtwaists, suits, workwear, sportswear, sports pants (excluding sport teams), and similar products.

2. Hosiery: knee-high socks, socks, tights, leggings, pantyhose, leg warmers, leggings, and similar products.

Glove products: gloves, mittens, fingerless gloves, and similar products.

Shawl and scarf products: shawls, scarves, handkerchiefs.

3. Headwear: hats, caps, berets, Panama hats, skullcaps, and similar products.

4. Outerwear, coats, work pants, semi-work pants, overcoats, jackets, jacket-pants sets, sportswear, and similar products, including those made of leather and fur; tops.

5. Suit sundries: suits, trousers, jackets, skirts, jackets, vests, shorts, jacket-style coats, and similar items.

6. Dresses, gowns (including formal and sundresses), skirts, vests, tops, aprons, pants, and similar items.

7. Loungewear, suits, robes, and similar items.

EAC Declaration for Children's Light Industry Products

The EAC declaration is targeted at children's clothing and ready-made garments.

Children's knitwear:
1. Clothing products: coats, vests, overcoats, workwear, jackets, workwear, lined suits (jackets, coats, trousers, vests, skirts), and similar items for children aged one and above and young adults; second layer hats (excluding summer hats) and similar items for children aged one and above and young adults; coats, jackets, overcoats, outerwear, vests, jackets, sleeping bags, cuffs, collars, accessories, gloves, hats, gloves, long socks, socks, and similar items for children aged one and above and young adults.

2. Knitwear: outerwear, coats, and similar items for children aged one and above and young adults.

3. Ready-made textiles: blankets for children and young adults (excluding stitched blankets), handkerchiefs, towels, headscarves, and similar items.

Upon the applicant's request, mandatory EAC certification for clothing can replace the EAC compliance declaration.

National Registration Certificate (SGR) for Light Industry Products

Product national registration may take 15 to 60 calendar days.

For some children's clothing, in addition to the compliance declaration, a national registration certificate must be issued for:
Products requiring a national registration certificate:
1. Clothing products: linen products (pajamas, underwear), diapers, swimwear, bath products, jumpsuits, aprons, hats, tops, and similar items for children under three years old; first-layer headwear (summer) and similar items for children under three years old.

2. Knitwear: pajamas, shorts, underpants, trousers, sports pants, shirts, swimwear, sets, diapers, jumpsuits, hats, camisoles, tops, trousers, aprons, T-shirts, and similar items for children under three years old; tights, stockings, socks, first-layer knee-high socks, and similar items for children under three years old; first-layer headgear (summer) and similar items for children under three years old.

EAC compliance declaration can be carried out according to different schemes. Schemes: 1d, 3d - for products intended for mass production, Scheme: 2d - for products intended for mass production.

EAC declaration for mass production, Schemes: 1d, 3d (Russian manufacturer):
Applicant company information: TIN, OGRN, statistical code, detailed information; production technology TU or GOST; lease or ownership contract (production); trademark; label.

EAC compliance declaration for mass production, Schemes: 1d, 3d (foreign manufacturer):
Applicant company information: TIN, OGRN, statistical code, detailed information; manufacturer's name and legal address; sales contract (all pages) or manufacturer's authorized representative contract; T.M./trademark; label.
