Woven Labels & Printed Labels Manufacturer
Woven Labels & Printed Labels Manufacturer
Woven labels are fabric tags sewn onto clothing and textiles, featuring text, letters, logos, or patterns. They serve as identifiers for clothing and home textiles, acting as distinctive branding marks in the modern economy.
Produced on a weaving loom, woven labels are created by fixing warp threads while using weft threads to form text, graphics, letters, numbers, 3D logos, and color combinations. They are known for their high-end quality, durability, clear details, and soft texture.
Printed Labels
Compared to woven labels, printed labels are trademark labels made using printing techniques. These include care labels (also called wash labels or water labels), size labels, and certification tags found on garment hang tags.
Printed labels typically come in two materials: satin ribbon and coated fabric. Wash labels are usually made from satin ribbon or non-woven fabric. Satin ribbons should be folded to prevent fraying after cutting, whereas non-woven fabric labels do not require folding and maintain a clean-cut appearance.
Differences Between Woven and Printed Labels
Woven and printed labels are closely related yet distinct. Many garment manufacturers are now opting for printed main labels using materials such as satin ribbons, cotton tapes, webbing, satin fabric, and cotton fabric, which are also classified as printed labels.
Printed labels, due to their printing process, offer vibrant, rich colors, high clarity, and a trendy appearance with high production efficiency. Woven labels, on the other hand, resemble fabric weaving in their production method, making them more durable, resistant to washing, and less prone to fading, giving them a more premium feel.
