Is a woven cotton label made of 100% cotton yarn
No, typically, woven cotton labels are not made of 100% pure cotton. Due to mechanical and process limitations, a complete woven cotton label generally contains only about 60% cotton yarn.
A full woven label is usually made using three different types of yarn. If all the yarns were 100% pure cotton, the machinery would not function properly.
Additionally, it is not recommended to use a heat-cut (straight-cut) folding method for cotton labels, as cotton yarn lacks thermoplastic properties and may wear out after washing. We recommend using end-fold or center-fold methods instead.
