Single Clothing Hang Tag

The content must be the same, and it's better to produce a larger quantity; otherwise, the cost will be high. This is because the cost of a printing plate needs to be shared. For example, if the cost of one printing plate is $50, and you make 2,000 tags, the cost per tag is $0.025. If you make 20,000 tags, the cost per tag is only $0.002. If the quantity is large, the printing plate cost can be ignored. Most printing factories can handle this, and even small offset printing machines with low costs can be used. However, if high printing requirements are needed, such as for realistic colors or gradient colors, rotary machines or high-quality printing machines (e.g., Heidelberg, Lintico, Komori, etc.) are required.

Roll Clothing Hang Tag

These are sold in rolls and need to be printed again using a hang tag printer. Roll hang tags are used because some information needs to change. For example, out of 30,000 tags, 10,000 are for red clothes, and among them, there are five different sizes, each with different prices and compositions. Clearly, a single hang tag can't meet these requirements, so roll hang tags are created. There are two types of roll hang tags. One is blank on both sides and can be purchased online. The common specifications are generally available. Once purchased, you can print the required information using a hang tag printer. The other type has fixed information printed on the front, such as brand, company name, address, phone number, etc., and the back is either blank or partially printed, leaving space for customers to print variable information, such as color, style number, composition, price, size, etc. This greatly facilitates customers in creating personalized hang tags, which they can design and print themselves, whether for one or two tags. However, roll hang tags require a hang tag printer to use. You can either buy a hang tag printer and design/print them yourself or outsource the printing to a hang tag printing business.
