What is the density of woven clothing labels
The density of woven labels refers to the weft density—the higher the weft density, the better the quality of the woven label. Weft density indicates the number of yarns within 1 cm of the label. The finer the yarn, the finer the label. High-density woven labels are considered premium and are typically used for high-end branding.
The thickness of the yarn is usually expressed in denier (D):
- 100D: Coarse yarn
- 75D: Medium-fine yarn
- 50D: Fine yarn
- 30D: Ultra-fine yarn
Most woven labels on the market are made with 50D yarns.
LIJIE China offers wholesale woven labels in various densities—welcome to inquire and purchase.
